PIA Planetarium is run by Pakistan International Airlines which was established after the establishment of PIA Planetarium, Karachi. It contains a dome building. This place attracts a lot of visitors, because PIA placed a junked aero plane (a retired Boeing 720-047B (registration AP-AXL) to this building. This plane has been here since 1987 and it is well maintained. The visitors get a simulated ride in it with the help of audio video aids. They are shown a 45-minute-long documentary on Pakistan. Educational videos on astronomy are shown in the main building.
PIA planetarium is a museum of PIA where you can see old planes, history of PIA and old planes of Pakistan Air Force. It provides the education to students of science. It was established in 1985 in Karachi and then Lahore. A beautiful red color dome makes it's building more beautiful. As it is a part museum, which showcases achievements and history of PIA, that is why it holds historical significance.

یہ لاہور، پاکستان میں ایک سیارہ ہے جسے پاکستان انٹرنیشنل ایئر لائنز چلاتی ہے۔ یہ پی آئی اے پلانیٹیریم، کراچی کے قیام کے بعد قائم کیا گیا تھا۔ اس میں ایک گنبد کی عمارت ہے۔
یہ جگی بہت سے زائرین کو اپنی طرف متوجہ کرتی ہے، وہ یہ ہے کہ پی آئی اے نے اس عمارت میں ایک ردی شدہ ہوائی جہاز (ایک ریٹائرڈ رکھا تھا۔ یہ طیارہ 1987 سے یہاں موجود ہے اور اس کی دیکھ بھال بہت اچھی کی جاتی ہے ہے۔ آڈیو ویڈیو ایڈز کی مدد سے اس میں ایک نقلی سواری دکھائی جاتی ہے۔اس میں پاکستان پر ایک 45 منٹ طویل ڈاکومنٹری دکھائی جاتی ہے۔فلکیات پر تعلیمی ویڈیوز مرکزی عمارت میں دکھائی جاتی ہیں۔پی آئی اے پلانٹیریم پی آئی اے کا ایک میوزیم ہے جہاں آپ پرانے ہوائی جہاز دیکھ سکتے ہیں جیسا کہ پی آئی اے کے پرانے طیارے اور پاک فضائیہ کے پرانے طیارے شامل ہیں۔یہ سائنس کے طلباء کو تعلیم فراہم کرتا ہے۔یہ 1985 میں پہلے کراچی اور پھر لاہور میں قائم کیا گیا تھا۔ایک خوبصورت سرخ رنگ کا گنبد اس کی عمارت کو مزید خوبصورت بناتا ہے۔ چونکہ یہ ایک پارٹ میوزیم ہے، جو پی آئی اے کی کامیابیوں اور تاریخ کو ظاہر کرتا ہے، اسی لیے اس کی تاریخی اہمیت ہے۔
